Well-Child Exam

A Well-Child exam is similar to an adult preventative exam or “yearly physical”. During this exam, the provider will assess the child’s growth and development to determine if everything is normal. They will also update the medical, surgical, social, and family history of the child. A head-to-toe exam will be performed as well as a review of the child’s growth. Any recommended immunizations or testing will be discussed with the child and the child’s parent or guardian.

We do not carry the childhood vaccines such as DtaP, HBV, or IPV.  It is because of this that we don’t begin seeing children in our office until they have received all of their kindergarten immunizations’.
